Beware of MAGA conservative false prophets, false teachers, and pastors who told Christians to fight on January 6 and who tell them that Donald Trump is an “anointed one” or “chosen one” sent to save America. I believe this reflects a falling away from faith in Jesus Christ and His Gospel, an apostasy.
Jesus warned about false Christs and false prophets who would deceive people through signs and wonders: “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders” (Matthew 24:24 KJV).
In my interpretation, when political leaders are presented with messianic language and religious figures claim signs, wonders, or prophecies to persuade Christians to follow them, believers should take Jesus’ warning seriously. Test every spirit and every teaching by Scripture (1 John 4:1). Do not put your faith in an earthly political leader. Jesus Christ is the true Christ, and Jesus alone saves.

January 6 and the Falling Away
“For that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first...” - 2 Thessalonians 2:3 KJV
January 6 was wicked and evil. I believe it revealed something deeper than a political crisis: a spiritual falling away. In my interpretation, January 6 showed what can happen when Christians exchange devotion to Jesus Christ and His Gospel for devotion to political power and an earthly leader. Conservative false prophets, false teachers, and pastors have called Donald Trump “the anointed one” and “the chosen one,” presenting him as someone who would save America. Christians must test such claims against Scripture. America does not have a political savior. Jesus Christ alone saves.
Jesus warned, “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets” (Matthew 24:24 KJV). Paul also warned about “false apostles, deceitful workers” and wrote that “Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:13-14 KJV).

January 6: When Political Power Becomes a False Gospel
Scripture: Matthew 24:24; 2 Corinthians 11:13-14; Psalm 146:3; John 18:36
January 6, 2021 should serve as a serious warning to Christians about what can happen when political loyalty becomes more important than following Jesus Christ. That day, a mob breached the United States Capitol while Congress was meeting to certify the Electoral College vote. Violence followed, and the congressional proceeding was interrupted.
Christians should reject political violence regardless of who commits it. Jesus did not call His Church to conquer an earthly government for Him. Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world” (John 18:36 KJV). Yet some conservative Christian teachers and pastors have portrayed Donald Trump using religious language such as “anointed” or “chosen,” presenting political power as though it were part of God's plan to save America. Christians must test such claims against Scripture. America does not have a political savior. Republicans cannot save us. Democrats cannot save us. Presidents cannot save us. Jesus Christ alone saves.

But fear is not the language of the Kingdom of God. When we look to any politician to be the savior of our families or our nation, we carry a burden we were never meant to bear. Politicians fail us. Earthly kingdoms rise and fall.
If you are feeling anxious about the state of the world, you don't need a stronger political leader; you need the Prince of Peace. Jesus looked at a worried crowd and said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." The Church does not depend on an election outcome to survive. Your soul is completely secure in the hands of the One who conquered the grave. Let’s lay down the heavy armor of political warfare, step away from the divisive noise of media influencers, and rest in the quiet, unchanging love of our true Savior, Jesus Christ.

Six Months, 66 Projects, Six Areas
For years I have said that I believe Donald Trump fits the biblical description of the final Antichrist and Daniel’s boastful little horn. Along the way, I have also noticed many strange numerical coincidences involving 6, 66, and 666. I do not believe coincidences by themselves prove prophecy. Revelation 13 does not tell Christians to identify the beast simply by collecting every appearance of the number six.
But this newest example certainly caught my attention.
Trump’s Board of Peace has unveiled a six-month Gaza recovery plan containing 66 projects divided into six areas. Those are the actual figures reported by Axios.

Give God the Credit
Genesis 14 gives a strong contrast to the statement in the Newsweek screenshot. On June 16, 2026, Trump was reported as saying, “Without me, there would be no Israel,” while arguing that his actions had been essential to Israel’s survival.
But notice Abram’s attitude after God gave him victory:
“And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand.” - Genesis 14:20, KJV
Abram did not say, I accomplished this by my own greatness. The victory was credited to God.
Then Abram refused the king of Sodom’s riches because he did not want that king to be able to say:
“I have made Abram rich.” - Genesis 14:23, KJV
That is a powerful biblical principle. Abram deliberately refused to let a human ruler take the glory that belonged to God.
Political leaders can point to policies, military decisions, diplomacy, or alliances they believe helped another nation. Those historical claims can be examined on their merits. But Christians should be very cautious whenever any man speaks as though an entire nation owes its existence to him.
The biblical posture is different: God gets the glory.
“Blessed be the most high God.”
Do not make a president, king, nation, military, or political movement your savior. Give God the credit, and put your ultimate trust in Jesus Christ.

“Only Trump” may be political branding, but Christians should remember where our ultimate hope belongs. No president, prince, nation, technology, or political movement can save humanity.

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” - John 14:6, KJV.

Scripture also warns, “Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.” - Psalm 146:3, KJV.

Christians can evaluate political leaders however they choose, but salvation belongs to Christ alone. Not “Only Trump.” Only Jesus saves. Only Christ saves.

Love Your Enemies
If Jewish people call you a “goy” or “goyim,” love them. If a Muslim hates you because of your faith, love them. If conservative Christian brothers and sisters treat you like an enemy, love them too.

Jesus did not tell His followers to love only the people who agree with them. He did not say to love only those who belong to the same religion, political movement, culture, or community. Jesus commanded us to love even our enemies. “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.” - Matthew 5:44, KJV

That is difficult, but it is the way of Christ.

When someone insults you, do not answer hatred with hatred. When someone rejects your faith, do not become cruel toward them. When another Christian attacks you over politics or doctrine, do not allow bitterness to control your heart.
