Just saw this beautiful, huge caterpillar in Cheddar Gorge.

At first I thought it was an elephant hawk-moth caterpillar, but it doesn't have the eye marks and it's got a cool striped "head". Is it a convolvulus hawk-moth?

The giant wood moth (Endoxyla cinereus) is one of the largest moth species in the world. Adult females are about twice as large as males, can weigh up to 30 grams, & have a wingspan up to 25 centimeters. They live in the forests of Australia and New Zealand
