Clearly something to work on, but the community of moth enthusiasts is growing quickly in Europe and a wonderful group in Portugal are leading the way www.reborboletasn.org/the-project. The EU has now adopted moths as one of the compulsory pollinator groups to monitor which will give it a boost.
The new (slightly revised) Red List of European Moths has been published by the EU. A summary and links to downloads can be found on our website. Moths play a vital role in ecosystems and there is also an important new document on how to plan for their conservation
