Hello! I'm Mem.
I'm learning how to draw digitally. I previously have been used to using oil paint and other traditional mediums.
This account is heavily focused towards self-indulgent fanart, photos, and more★

A southern old lady moth found a bit of security in our house last night. A bird kept flying up to the window hoping to catch it.

I turned the butterfly designs from my short film Lepidoptera into a mini stickers set! 🦋🦋
Has been very satisfying finding matching card / paper sets from my hoarde to coordinate with all the sticker themes. More to come 👀

Up at Shop, this one tangled itself into a Spider web. I got it off the wings and body, then took it out by the woods to release.Polyphemus moth/giant silk moth. 5" Wingspan #Insects #Moths #Invertebrate #NatureLover

Some pets are unusual. :)

Once, I found many caterpillars on wild blackberry by the roadside just before it was mowed. I gathered them & fed them cherry plum leaves from our garden.

100% of them became adult moths by spring!

Happy Hump Day! 🎉

To celebrate the halfway point, here's a video of a silkworm moth laying #eggs on my finger. Filmed yesterday.

Fun facts: Silkworm #moths are flightless, don't eat, and yes, their coccoons are silk.

They live just 5-10 days.

Enjoy life. 💖
