#Rainy #weather usually drops a few treasures out of the trees too, like this lush #HotStickSaturday specimen I found at the park the last time it really rained. #BlueSkyArtShow #Lichen #Moss #ISeeMoss #Fungi #FungiFriends #Woods #Forests #Trees #PNW #GoOutside #Breathe #Notice #YouMatter

A small stick pictured diagonally from lower right to upper left - absolutely dripping with moss and lichen. A poof of Kelly green moss sits in the middle, with sprigs of pale sea green fairinose cartilage lichen and oakmoss lichen growing out of it. A broken bit of the stick that sticks out of this displays some sort of tiny, whitish rim-disc lichen. Some bright yellow sunburst lichen blurs off to the left.

A fungus photo a day: I have an obsession with how tiny fungi can be (which is frustrating since my phone camera is limited in its macro ability), but look at how tiny this Strobilurus is and LOOK AT THE ONE BEHIND IT! Sooo tiny. Taken yesterday.

Penny Bun (Cep), Boletus edulis.

In beech woods near Swaffham, Norfolk, yesterday.

Just the one, which was in poor condition but still identifiable.

Bay Bolete, Imleria badia.

In beech and pine woods near Swaffham, Norfolk, yesterday.

Several caps without a stipe but one lovely little specimen too, like a Penny Bun (Boletus edulis) but with a darker cap and pores that bruised blue.
