標識の地衣類さん、🟥赤色と🟦青色がお好きのようですね🤭

Dense carpet of small, leaf-like scales of Cladonia #lichen (they are called basal squamules). It's likely Cladonia pyxidata though it could be the usual Cladonia somethingelse. The two objects in the bottom-left corner are a pair of pine needles (also used here for scale)

すごい、生命感はフィールドに劣るものの、ぎりぎりまで近づけるので詳細な画像が撮れます。

Flavoplaca maritima: nationally notable rocky-shore #lichen. Easily confused with common F marina, but usually yellower in colour with 'waxier' look. Also never in orange (mesic-supralittoral) zone where F marina congregates, but rather higher up shore in grey (xeric-supralittoral) zone. Scotland.

Caps of Cladonia #lichen (possibly Cladonia fimbriata )

I found the bits and pieces of lace lichen hanging from the thinner branches/twigs to be intriguing. They look like they are floating in the air.

What a #lichen day without Xanthoria parietina?

Close-up of the Flavoparmelia #lichen (possibly F. soredians): overlapping lobes densely covered with granular soralia merge into a nearly continuous crust

The same Cladonia #lichen, only b/w

Cladonia #lichen - and of course I noticed this cute tiny bug (Acalypta parvula, or Moss Lacebug) only at home, when working with the image :(

The bug is sitting at the base of the lichen stalk, in the lower-left corner; in Dutch they are called 'mosnetwants' - moss net bugs

Also #Cladonia #lichen, perhaps C. furcata

Too much stress at my 'real' work (lichen is a hobby); or too much stress from too little work - the flow of projects has declined drastically this year :(

Still try to take pics of #lichen - fewer, but still. I actually find much consolation in it; just don't share them here lately #Cladonia
