@nolkaloid.bsky.socialWhen any idiot can use a clanker to flood the space with slop, It just devalues the whole craft. And honestly that's just depressing to me. So perhaps it's time to move on and do something else :)
@nolkaloid.bsky.socialHonestly I don't know what to think about this... should I just quit ?
@nolkaloid.bsky.socialBy the looks of it, the stuff that I see on Reddit and Itch isn't even good. It really looks like generic Opus or Astra produced slop. What's the freaking point of selling it ? Beside being a meat proxy with extra cost ?
@nolkaloid.bsky.socialI've started seeing more and more #godot VFX slop in the community (especially on r/godot)... really demoralizing.
I do my VFX by hand (crazt right?) in my free time and I care for the quality... But when someone can just flood the "market" with their slop what's the point?
@nolkaloid.bsky.socialI'm all in !
@bauxitedev.bsky.socialReposted by @nolkaloid.bsky.socialProgress on my Godot XR Jam game! You can now weld props together, which makes building tall towers actually... kind of feasible?

@jettelly.bsky.socialReposted by @nolkaloid.bsky.socialThis stylized explosion looks pretty awesome! 💥 Nolkaloid made it in Godot with animated noise, layered explosions, shockwaves, and smoke.
We broke down how it works here: jettelly.com/blog/breakin...
