If Christianity were actually proven true, most atheists would change their minds. But acknowledging that a god exists is very different from deciding that god deserves worship. Belief and submission are two very different things.

This is exactly why government meetings shouldn't begin with prayer. Religious freedom means accepting that others have beliefs you don't share, not demanding special treatment whenever Christianity isn't the center of attention.
