VOD is live!
Many thanks to @boardgamefeast.bsky.social for helping me through the early game friction and not making me feel bad when I died to a rat.
Going live now! Come watch me struggle with Morrowind's interface and suffer through all the Elder Scrolls faces. This is also the first stream I'll be doing with a game on my PC captured through my capture card, so a fun experiment!
Hey, hey! It's Thursday, so @aidanmoher.com will be live on our Twitch and YouTube channels at 12PM PST (about 45 mins from now) streaming some Morrowind!
Come hang out and help him understand what's going on.
Good things come to those who wait!
After overhauling his video production workflow, @aidanmoher.com's got a new-look video version of the show, and it's DOOZY of an episode.
Come for the Morrowind, stay for the vegemite, and make sure you leave a like or subscribe on your way out!
The weirdest takeaway from this episode was the mid review for Morrowind. Ty and I talk a lot about the game, but also look back on how it was received at the time versus now.
Pretty proud of this one! I completely redid my production workflow, trying to cut as much of Riverside's AI tools as possible and just using raw footage in Premiere, and I'm pretty happy with the result. Show looks better, and, in the long run, should be quicker to produce. Please check it out!

It's FunFactor Fuuuuuuesday!
The fun guys @tyschalter.com and @aidanmoher.com head down under to check out issue 110 of Hyper—one of the longest running game mags in the world (1993-2019!), consider the crossover of PC and console gaming, then set off for the strange world of Austra— er, Morrowind.
I've been mulling over this for a while, but if you're a game journo who has worked under Valnet and want to confidentially share your views on how the company is managing its publications and treating workers, I am all ears. Signal: kerrblimey.43 Email: [email protected] DMs open
Well. That's me gone from TheGamer too. Six years of service, and I was at least given the dignity of it ending in a phone call. Right after dealing with weeks of institutionalized misogyny too! Thought things might be getting better So. Uh. Looking for work now I guess!
Ugh. We’re sorry.
the duality of man
As someone who spends a lot of timing editing and producing the video version of @funfactorpod.com, I like to think the visual aspect of going through a visual medium like legacy media/magazines has a justifiable positive impact in our case, haha.
It's back on AND it has its sound back.

VOD is live! Belmont's Curse is terrific, but the Switch version looks very rough compared to what I played a few months ago. Come watch me finish the demo and chat about what comes next!
Going live RIGHT NOW to play the Castlevania: Belmont's Curse demo and chat about my time previewing the game's first three hours in Paris a couple months ago! Come join the fun on Twitch: twitch.tv/funfactorpod
