I know a lot of people are down on some of the visual changes to The Witcher 3 remaster, but, man, the pathtraced lighting is something else. It's heavy, but I'm still able to run it on my 3080 with DLSS FG at better performance than RT on my PS5. Left = Rasterized lighting Right = Pathtracing

The Witcher 3 remaster sure is pretty.

That all being said, I typically just play with RT on and toggle PT when I want to take screenshots.

Honestly, a lot of it comes to to me being new to PC gaming and the high FPS is still a novelty, and with a controller and not being too sensitive to input lag in a floaty game like TW3, it’s not a bother. Even without FG, I’m still getting 40fps with PT compared to janky 30fps on base PS5 with RT.
