@hornedlarkpress.comReposted by @jomiles.bsky.socialOne month before an election has us feeling some kind of way. It’s a mood. Tired of techbros and the one percent buying governments and need a world where they don’t win? We got you. Stories by @lilithsaintcrow.com, @jomiles.bsky.social, & @marissalingen.bsky.social. Out now wherever you buy books!
@jomiles.bsky.socialA standalone adventure where the weeds are heroes. If you like alien ecology, family secrets, and a dash of fantasy in your sci-fi, this is for you!
@jomiles.bsky.socialReal life: "Something weird happened to me." Everyone: "It's all in your head." Star Trek: "Something weird happ--" Everyone: "Red alert! We will run every scan until we find the source of your weird thing. Time loop? Alien possession? Subspace bubble universe? We've all been there."

I'm on "Cozy Fantasy Over the Rainbow" on Sunday 9 PM ET/6 PT, talking about queerness in Tea & Treachery at the Infinite Pantry and other queer cozy faves.
@jomiles.bsky.socialLiterally all those things and more. It is so good, folks. Unhinged in the best way.
@jomiles.bsky.socialSeconded!
@jomiles.bsky.socialLook what showed up on my doorstep today, as if by fairy magic! It's my contributor copy of Worlds of Possibility (vol 2) and it is absolutely gorgeous.
@courtneymilan.comReposted by @jomiles.bsky.socialNow look, I understand that you want to know why we haven't all Entwifed out of this shit, and frankly, sometimes I also want to know that. But there are many reasons for that, and one of them is that YOU FUCKERS WILL NOT LET US DO THAT.
@jomiles.bsky.socialAnd for those counting, yes, that is two separate cons I'm at this weekend. Bad idea? Maybe! Fortunately one is very near my house, and the other is virtual. Both will be fun! It will be great! Someone please just scrape my poor introverted self off the floor Monday morning. 😅

@jomiles.bsky.socialI didn't make a snazzy graphic, but I'm at Capclave this weekend! Star Trek Still Lives - 11:30 Sat (Covering 60 years of Star Trek surely requires a 6 hour panel but alas, we only get an hour.) Signing books - 3:30 Sat and at the mass autographing. Food Glorious Food - Sun 10:00 Come say hi!
@stephanieburgis.bsky.socialReposted by @jomiles.bsky.socialThis is a lovely, thoughtful conversation between @marissalingen.bsky.social and @jomiles.bsky.social about their new Horned Lark novellas. I've already read Marissa's (A Dubious Clamour) and absolutely loved it! And Jo's looks great as well.

@jomiles.bsky.socialA flash reprint for you! How far would you go to disconnect, if disconnecting was illegal? A reminder to look up from your device and breathe. This goes on my list of "sadly more relevant than when I wrote it" stories. I suggest: give it a read, then go take a walk outside--without your phone.
@jomiles.bsky.socialI am full of feels over When The Tides Held The Moon. Just gorgeous. I need more intersectional sideshow found families in my sff.
@venessakelley.bsky.social, I'm so glad we met at Lavendercon and that I bumped this up my tbr list!
@mercwolfmoor.bsky.socialReposted by @jomiles.bsky.socialWe are REAL CLOSE... come back #OpportunityWindow, get some awesome #timeloop stories!!
@kadoore.comReposted by @jomiles.bsky.socialI just think there's a special place in hell for genAI scammers who target authors who haven't received a nice email about their work in over 5 years 🥲
@jomiles.bsky.socialICYMI, check out the recording of my lovely chat with @marissalingen.bsky.social! We discuss harpies, fungi, Gilbert & Sullivan, portal fantasy, the importance of doubt, and the power of hope:
