My dumb ass not realizing this is the same person until I watched Avenue X's video on #AgainstTheCurrent. PS I like him better bald 😅 #LiXueyi #TheBloodOfYouth #cdrama

I'll still continue to hype #TheBloodOfYouth.

He’s had some fun xianxia roles too - #AncientLovePoetry, #AMomentButForever, #LoveNeverFails & #LoveAndRedemption - & a well-liked role as the mystical, witty bald monk in #TheBloodofYouth -Though I wouldn’t necessarily watch those for romantic reasons 🙂

He is excellent but unfortunately has been in a lot of dramas that ended up meh. Not his fault. One of his best roles is as a teenage shaven-headed monk in #TheBloodOfYouth, but it’s a very different character and type of story to #AgainstTheCurrent. You might he better off with one of Tina’s recs.

Finished #TheBloodOfYouth and freakin' loved it to the end. I could've easily watched 10 more eps. It's not a perfect drama, it's got flaws that I'll get into in the thread, but the friendships, the world building and badass fights made this a joy to watch (SPOILERS in video and thread) #cdrama

Oh, do you mean #EmpressReborn? I’m so looking forward to that one ☺️

It’s directed by Yin Tao, who did #TheBloodOfYouth, #LoveOfTheDivineTree & #Destined (among others), so I have reasonable hopes for it

Still watching #TheBloodOfYouth and WOW the banquet scene was spectacular! The writing and staging, the way they built up the tension and then the emotional payoff was like a master class in storytelling. I'm so happy to have a truly good #Cdrama to watch, it's been a while.

Found Hu Wei from #TheUncloudedSoul and #TheBloodOfYouth!
