@jamesdramac.bsky.socialThat’s a cool second cdrama! 🙂 - he was excellent in #KillMeLoveMe - despite the difficult/tragic ending
I agree - I can watch him in anything, good or bad; he always brings something to the table!
@maridz.bsky.socialSee my first run into him
was during my obsession with Zhang Yuxi after watching #DeepAffectionateeyes and wanted to watch all her dramas. So next came #Loveatnight where he was a sexy, grumpy ceo.. my catnip.. it barely click today he was also the lead in #Killmeloveme
@her-cool-aunt.bsky.socialYes, the initial premise for #PrimcesssGambit was good - as was the premise for #KillMeLoveMe - but the drama didn’t deliver. Not Liu Xueyi’s fault in either case. I agree with your opinion on MZY. 😬 KMLM went off the rails despite having good ML and FL actors. 🤷♀️
@joannanovinswrites.bsky.socialHe's one of my favorite actors, though yes, most of his scripts have been...not great. He's amazing in #KillMeLoveMe. I'd toss in #LoveatNight for fun (though he's prettiest in historicals.
@jamesdramac.bsky.socialI actually quite liked #InBlossom (although it’s not top-tier for me), & I’m one of the few who actually enjoyed #ThePrincessGambit 🙂 despite its very ropey final 3rd!
He’s also good in #KillMeLoveMe, although I couldn’t finish because of the tragic ending 😭
@tinacmml.bsky.socialI loved him in every drama ive seen him, but unfortunately I couldn't finish any of them because the plot turned meh in last third...

#PrincesssGambit
@her-cool-aunt.bsky.socialGorgeous! But it’s not Bai Lu. That Wu Jinyan in #KillMeLoveMe.

@sabihslife.bsky.socialWatching #KillMeLoveMe to help pass the time between episodes of #AgainstTheCurrent
@her-cool-aunt.bsky.socialI really really really wanted #KillMeLoveMe to be good. The trailer was 🔥👌 with Lui Xueyi playing a crazed maniac and Wu Jinyan as an assassin. But it sort of drifted downhill fast and I never even finished. So yeah, Lui Xueyi is a grownup and a properly good actor but he remains stuck in bad roles.
