Ringforts, a fascinating monument wreathed in folklore. A number of these have been uncovered along the #FoynestoLimerickRoad, but Ballyclogh 4 is the first to be identified as a cashel. Who do you think lived here? How old do you think the site is? #medievalarchaeology #irisharchaeology #colimerick

Possible cave art in SW Ireland may be at least 15,000 years old, potentially pushing Ireland's human story back ~5,000 years.
The brilliant part?
Computer modelling identified where to look.
Archaeology+technology.
This one definitely has my attention.
