One of the cool things about excavating is there’s usually something unexpected to find! Early on in the excavation of Ballyclogh 4 on the #FoynestoLimerickRoad, archaeologist Manuel Piñeiro made a fascinating find of a belt plate that once belonged to a member of the 3rd Regiment of Foot.
