My Devil's Flower L-3 eating a bluebottle fly. It's amazingly capable of tackling a huge prey item at this early stage of development. They're one of the largest mantis species.😎

I was lucky to encounter a #prayingmantis and to grab my phone in time to take a video!

I met this lovely lady today.
She enjoyed it very much when I took her picture, she even tried to take my phone when I showed her. Then she tried to take my daughter’s bike.

Now that I think of it… this lady was a little sus.

Apparently #PrayingMantis are common now in Germany too I saved one from the ground that probably would have got stomped on by inattentive people looking on thier smartphone while walking or run over by an electric shooter! I picked it up and put in on a nearby Hedge fascinating insects

Happy #InsectThursday, Susan!

Talk about a result, I didn't think pairing my Stenophylla lobivertex was successful as I never saw the male and female actually connect, but lo and behold 16 teeny tiny dragons have hatched from the ooth :D

Saved a mantis from my cat. Luckily, it met the bad huntress.
Or, it would've gotten hurt.
