Men are what they are because #patriarchy. It's systemic and cultural.

@drspacejunk.bsky.social Oct 5, 2026, 9:44 PM

It's not just that women are silenced, harrassed, assaulted, pushed out of work, assumed to be incompetent, have their work stolen or credit denied. It's that men get ahead standing on the backs of women being pushed down. When you point this out they get ANGRY. #patriarchy

THE TAO OF FUNNY GOD, MATRIARCHY, AND LUNAR THEOLOGIES

Page 57

Then he finishes with words that say everything, “I forgot ... how BIG!”

“Thank you.”

“Thank you for my life.”

So, this scene is a clue to the lunar theology the movie portrays, but it shows again the rising of awareness of the Divine in all these matriarchal and lunar ways — through observation of Nature (the moon); as a result of experience of life and suffering; arising only when one has surrendered and struggled no more; and occurring when one’s Ego has been stripped down sufficiently by the exigencies of life to be able to let it in (the hero’s emaciated self, the sinking of the luxury yacht). It says that one becomes transformed when one’s Ego has been diminished sufficiently and one can allow the process to have its way totally.

One accepts the “process” as being what is all important. It is not the goal that is crucial, authorities are not needed, one cannot do it for anyone else. It focuses on Divinity as being inherent, which means that one reaches the truth on one’s own, one is healed by surrender not by fee to a professional.

Chapter 4

The Primal Matrix of Mind:

We Are What We’ve Experienced — Our Birth, Gestation, and Conception Create Our Windows to the World

“...our conception, gestation, and birth... can be seen to form our underlying myths ... but much more than that. They also create the very foundational templates upon which we build our view of reality — physical, social, emotional, spiritual, and philosophical....”

There will be times when the struggle seems impossible. Alone, unsure, dwarfed by the scale of a system that claims to know everything, control everything, and predict every outcome. Feeling helpless in the face of it.

The situation is depicting the sufferings of life, of course. And the response by the hero, Joe, presages the later one in relation to the volcano. That is, one can do nothing about the situation and must submit ... and simply survive. The self-sacrifice and bravery that will be necessary for the larger challenge is exercised here, as well. Joe takes no water for himself, while he pours mere capfuls of what they have, stretching it out to make it last, into the lips of the unconscious Patricia. Joe is already showing his willingness to suffer himself and put his own body on the line in order to ease the suffering of another. That is what heroes do.

The response from the Universe is significant and profound. In the dead of night, the moon rises on the horizon. It is the largest moon imaginable and fills the sky. A beaten and emaciated Joe, after a mighty struggle just to stand, faces the sight in awe with lowered arms in submission. Then he raises his arms in an embrace and acceptance. Finally his legs shaking, he collapses to his knees and crosses his arms before himself in humility.

He says, “Dear God, whose name I do not know. Thank you for my life.”

PROLOGUE: KEYNOTE OF THE GREAT REVEAL

Page 7

Comeuppance Coming

To get back to my story, so here’s Mister Ed. Lookin’ like.... Mister Ed!!

And yeah, me too. I didn’t know he was still alive, either. Ed said he needed this job as spokesperson, as the economy hit him hard too.

Well, he’s making up for being out of the limelight, it seems. For while humans apparently can’t see what‘s coming, Mister Ed shows off quite an animal’s instinctive knowledge. He sees clearly: far into the past and into the immediate future. And he’s fed up and won’t be shut up, taking especially the “filthy rich” to task.

Apparently animals know a lot more about humans than we do about ourselves. While our comeuppance is not pretty (that horse has quite the mouth on him — you’d never have gotten that from the show! and a rather gruesome imagination), it is not all humans he condemns. Given a chance, I betcha he’d bring back unions.

3. THE FARTHER REACHES OF HUMAN EXPERIENCE

Page 43

Centaurs; now, in these books, Dance of the Seven Veils, I deal with the influences, in particular, that exist in our views of Reality, which come from a more expanded developmental time — adolescence to cellular experience, conception to the Identity stage of life.

In this Prologue, we are getting an overview of the territory across which we will journey throughout the rest of these books. To that end, next, here are some things not generally known about our perinatal experience ... the events we experience at and surrounding the time of our births.

Back when Anna Farris was funny! The 'Playboy' aspects didn't age well, and neither did the 'ugly girl still has value' plot. Pretends to be empowering to women, but still full of gross patriarchy.
