#TheDragonblood: The Defenders of Fate are one of those scary things parents tell their children about in bedtime stories. Maybe slightly older children than the ones you'd tell stories to simply to convince them to behave and eat their vegetables.

#TheDragonblood: One thing about Laannig I'm pretty sure you'll relate to is that he thinks the Nemorian gods are manipulative tyrannical assholes.
Of course, Laannig does believe in his own set of gods.
#TheDragonblood: I mentioned Aimetor's sculpting yesterday, but they also do fashion design and artistic body modification, and they'll also take up acting. So Aimetor is an artist in many ways.
#TheDragonblood: Felix may get to witness important events in Nemoria. Possibly, the kidnapping of Zonhiska and/or parts of the First Akewan War.
#TheDragonblood: Draconoidic formed when Petanata, the first dragon, tried to speak Nemorian, and replaced sounds with ones they could make. Petanata's Dragonblood parent may also have occasionally tried to speak and teach Nemorian in dragon form and made similar substitutions.
#TheDragonblood: Depending on how you look at it, the main opponent of the Defenders of Fate is either people who would mess with time in irreconcilable ways, or fate itself.
And it may seem strange that the so-called Defenders of Fate would be fighting AGAINST fate.
#TheDragonblood: Currently, Felix lives in a rented flat in Cambridge with some flatmates they've probably never exchanged words with.
Outside the school year, Felix lives with their nebulous family which I seriously need to build.
#TheDragonblood: The flora and fauna of Kumat largely resembles that of Egypt.
Apparently in our world, changes to Egypt's climate have made some species, such as papyrus reeds, hippos and crocodiles, less plentiful than they used to be.
#TheDragonblood: There is plenty of beautiful architecture in Nemoria. The temples of the gods are often pretty stunning, although Amfrobena prefers her temple to be very disorganised gardens, and Anamuortus's temples only exist virtually.
#TheDragonblood: Draconoidic is a tonal language. Common Draconoidic has three tones: high tone (á), mid tone (a) and low tone (à). High tone arises from a historical voiceless lateral in the onset of a syllable (originating from Nemorian t or k).
#TheDragonblood: Fenzetor is the god of fate. He wouldn't typically be associated with strife, but is certainly associated with the Defenders of Fate, and the strife they are allegedly trying to defend from.
#TheDragonblood: Kumat is famous for the enormous Pyramids of Ḫawyafwiy, Ḫaʿfriʿuw and Mankuʾawriʿuw, and the Great Sphinx (whose original name is lost to time in our world, so I will have to invent something for mine).
Using Buffer so I can go back to screenshotting my stories instead of retyping.
#TheDragonblood: Upon meeting up with some thieves, our party faces off against a Soul Devourer.
#InReverse: Meg's twin sister Gem seems almost ghostly for a moment. What is going on?
#TheDragonblood: Upon returning to the temple of Gnaramater after ending up with the ability to sense magic, Felix notices the temple emits a magical resonance that seems intentionally melodic.
#TheDragonblood: The Defenders of Fate believe that they are on a mission to protect the timeline from paradox that will result in great impending doom. And the way to do that is through targeted murder of those who would mess with time.
I am torn three ways, between my two chaotic gods from #TheDragonblood, Amfrobena, goddess of the weather, and Missadeiuos, god/goddess of trickery, and my troublemaker Hero from #MiwwduSitsomSelkieWIP.
#TheDragonblood: An old version of parts of the Epic of Gilgamesh may have existed at the time the magical world split from our world.
#TheDragonblood: All I've worked out about Kumat so far is the ways it is like Ancient Egypt, and not yet the things that make it different.
The language is going to be a descendant of Ancient Egyptian, with a writing system based on/descended from hieroglyphics.
#TheDragonblood: Draconoidic (we'll go with that for now) is made to fit the vocal tract of a dragon/wyvern and not a human, so has an unusual set of sounds.
#TheDragonblood: The reason for the Defenders of Fate existing is two-fold.
This might get a bit into Day 3 stuff, but let's start with what its members believe.
