Common crane , Kraanvogel - Grus grus

Kraanvogel - Grus grus - paar op een mistige ochtend in een weiland. De voorste vogel (de vrouw van dit paar) heeft de vleugels wijd uitgespreid en haar man staat er half achter. De zon brak juist een beetje door de mist heen en geeft de dieren een warme gloed. Kraanvogels spreiden hun vleugels regelmatig op deze wijze als onderdeel van hun baltsritueel.
