Plan for me this month is to hopefully start planting the new front garden (but this may extend into October) and to buy bulbs AND ACTUALLY PLANT THEM. I threw a load away last year and was annoyed at myself, but I just HATE planting them! #GardensHour

Good point! I didn’t water my lawn at all, and barely even the beds - they’re so established that almost everything survived. I chose to focus on pots and today my water bill actually went down - win win. I will never water my lawn though, it really doesn’t need it #GardensHour

I’m sure it will wear off here. We’ve not had that much to be honest, but enough little showers to really make a difference, and it’s a lot cooler. Still pretty humid though and still warm for this time of year #GardensHour

This month I’ll probably purchase some tulip bulbs whilst there’s still a large selection to choose from in the garden centres, but I usually plant them in November #GardensHour

Pondside, this has been quite a rewarding part of my garden this summer , lots of flowers and some great close encounters with wildlife and I've thought up some improvements in the planting for next year 🌱

If you’re in the UK, especially the south…. Grass is GREEN again! I am amazed how quickly that happened, the field I walk my dog most days has gone from brown to green in just two weeks! #GardensHour
