Good morning Bluesky Folks!

Yesterday I managed to capture a beautiful picture of a Pink Rose flower growing over a pavement it was Captured on my Canon EOS R50!

🌱 #NaturePhotography #PhotographersOfBluesky #PlantSky #UkGardening #Bloomscrolling #Flower #CanonR50

A close-up shot captures a delicate light-pink rose in full bloom, suspended against a dark, softly blurred background.
Main Bloom: The rose features ruffled, paper-thin petals in pale lilac-pink that curl open to reveal a pale yellow center dotted with dark-tipped stamens.
Buds & Stems: Slender, reddish-green stems hold several surrounding flower buds framed by green sepals. A prominent bud at the upper left shows a glimpse of deep pink petals, while smaller, tightly closed buds cluster nearby.
Lighting & Atmosphere: Soft, directional lighting highlights the texture of the petals and foliage, creating a moody, high-contrast look against the shadowy backdrop.

Goodnight Bluesky folks

My final post for Thursday features a beautiful picture of a purpletop vervain flower that I captured on my Canon EOS R50!

🌱 #NaturePhotography #PhotographersOfBluesky #PlantSky #UkGardening #Bloomscrolling #Flower #CanonR50

A close-up shot features a vibrant purple flower cluster (Verbena bonariensis) poised atop a slender, dark stem.
Subject: Dozens of tiny, five-petaled violet-purple blossoms form a dense, dome-shaped cluster. Thin, reddish-purple stems branch off internally to support each individual flower.
Background: The backdrop is softly blurred in deep, muted green tones, creating a strong bokeh effect that makes the main subject pop.
Color Contrast: A bright, out-of-focus yellow-orange spot—likely another blossom—sits in the upper-left corner, providing a striking warm contrast to the cool purple hues.
Lighting: Soft natural light illuminates the top of the bloom, highlighting the texture and delicate edges of the individual petals.

My lavender plant SEEMED to have died in my big move, but I may have underestimated its resilience.

Leo the Lavender might be a symbol of hope and resilience to us all.

Quin arbust és? Els noms que li han posat parlen de tinta i d'escopetes, i aquest mes es pot trobar per Catalunya. Digues-ho abans de mirar la segona foto.

Still flowering beautifully in our September garden. 🖤🌿
Rhodochiton atrosanguineus is such an unusual and elegant climber. I never get tired of seeing these delicate flowers swaying in the garden. 😍

Good Afternoon Bluesky Folks!

Yesterday I managed to capture a beautiful picture of a Red Valerian flower growing on my Neighbourhood it was Captured on my Canon EOS R50!

🌱 #NaturePhotography #PhotographersOfBluesky #PlantSky #UkGardening #Bloomscrolling #Flower #CanonR50

A close-up photograph captures a dense cluster of bright magenta-pink flowers blooming on a delicate green stalk.
Floral Structure: Dozens of tiny, star-shaped blossoms form a compact, rounded head. Fine, needle-like stamens extend outward from the center of several individual petals.
Stem & Branching: A thin, light-green stalk enters from the top right corner, branching down to support the central floral cluster.
Depth of Field: A shallow depth of field sharply focuses on the main bloom while rendering the background into a soft, dark-green foliage bokeh with a muted pink blur visible directly underneath.
Lighting: Direct natural light illuminates the flower head from the side, highlighting the texture of the open petals and casting soft shadows deep within the cluster.

Good Morning and Happy Thursday Bluesky folks!

On Wednesday while on my daily walk I came across a beautiful orange rose flower that I captured on my canon EOS R50!

🌱 #NaturePhotography #PhotographersOfBluesky #PlantSky #UkGardening #Bloomscrolling #Flower #CanonR50

A fully bloomed rose in warm apricot and peach tones serves as the central focus of the image.
Color & Petals: The bloom features dense, cup-shaped layers of petals that shift from a deep peach-salmon near the center to a lighter, golden-apricot hue along the outer edges.
Buds & Stems: Three tight, green unopened buds frame the main flower, attached to reddish-green stems equipped with fine thorns.
Foliage & Lighting: Deep green, semi-glossy leaves surround the base of the stem, set against a dark, shadowed background that highlights the bright, sunlit blossom.

La canya comuna fa grups densos vora els rius i, amb les avingudes, pot ser arrossegada i fer presa als ponts. Aquesta planta invasora desplaça la vegetació autòctona, a Catalunya abunda.

You normally dress these things with moss and such, but I'm not sure that would work for a plant that needs to dry out a bit between watering, so I've added some goldenmoss stonecrop which should grow to cover any bare soil 🌱🌵🪴
