Text by me, art by
@lostarot.bsky.social

#pirateborg #mörkborg #TTRPG

An illustration of a sailing ship, its sails made of a patchwork of skin with the suggestion of mouths. The test reads "Wailing Sails.

Got a wail of tale to tell ya, lads, lassies, and lassos
A wail of a tale or two
'Bout a ship on the seas with sails a screamin'
Voices of the dead on the waves a sailin'
A wail of a tale, and it's all true
I swear by my tattoo

Scourge ships outfitted with Wailing Sails require those facing them to roll Morale under a 6 as part of their Terrifying feature. Ships crewed by the living with these sails gain the Terrifying feature."

On the fifth day of #Mörktober, Cape (for Pirate Borg).
Art by me.
Text by @metamer.bsky.social

#pirateborg #mörkborg #TTRPG

A picture of an underwater area. There is a sheer cliff with sunken pirate ships that have been refashioned for the undead that now dwell within. Schools of fish swim about and sharks lurk further in the shadows. In the foreground below the cliff faces, a field of oysters with giant pearls. The text reads: There are rumors that, off of the coast of Cabo de la Vela in Northern Columbia, there are rich pearl beds that could guarantee the wealth of any that can retrive the pearls. However, the area has become a hideout for undead in the region who have taken up residence on the sea floor, caring not for the riches to be found around them. They slowly build their domain by using shipwrecks of those brave enough to seek the treasures near the "Cape of the Sail."

I hadn't thought about that but it's a cool idea. This year's posts are also likely to see the light of day in a 3rd party Pirate Borg adventure.
