10 - arrow
#MörkBorg #Mörktober #Inktober

This illustration shows an circle with three arrows inside, like the antifa symbol, but the arrows are medieval arrows. One arrow is yellow, one is black, and one magenta.
At the top of the circle it says "a r a" in blackletter font, and at the bottom of the circle it says "anti-royalty action"

On the ninth day of #Mörktober, FLAG (for Pirate Borg).

Art by me.

An illustration of a pirate with a Jolly Rodger flag seemingly possessed and trying to violently constrict its victim who is screaming in terror and trying to rip it away. The text reads: Momento Mori Once a possession, now possessed by a ghost with nothing better to do than torment the living. HP 16 Morale - No Aror Smother d6 Suffocation Test Toughnoess DR12 to break free on each subsequent turn. Masquerade. Until it moves, indistinguishable from a mundane flag.

Painting of a pile of skulls that has a flag sticking out of the top. The flag is black, yellow, and magenta, and has a sigil in the center.

Y'all know the drill, @knavesquill.bsky.social wrote the text, and I made the art to fit it! (:

#mörktober #mörkborg #inktober #inktober2026 #digitalart #ttrpgart #artsky #ttrpg #describedart

A drawing of a rotting corpse laying at the base of a clean white flag, its head broken open and a vulture digging through its brain.
The text reads:
9. Flag
A white leather sheet from an unknown source as a battle standard lies on the ground. It shimmers slightly; fleeting images when observed. If stood upright, all present test Presence or be compelled to worship at the base of the banner for d2 days.

Any that happen on the standard are compelled to worship in turn; friend, foe, it doesn’t matter. This peace continues until six beings are entranced, at which point they turn violent to one another, longing to be the sole pilgrim to carry it. Player characters compelled to fight regain senses after taking damage.

The last alive takes up the standard, onto a new location to beckon more to worship, and in turn frenzy.

#MÖRKTOBER Day 8: The Wailing Flail- An ensorcelled heretic’s skull nailed through with rusty spikes and attached to a chain. It makes a keening wail as it’s swung through the air. If the wielder spends their turn swinging it, any enemy who hears it must make a morale test or flee. #MÖRKBORG #TTRPG

On the eighth day of #Mörktober, Wail (for Pirate Borg).
Text by me, art by
@lostarot.bsky.social

#pirateborg #mörkborg #TTRPG

An illustration of a sailing ship, its sails made of a patchwork of skin with the suggestion of mouths. The test reads "Wailing Sails.

Got a wail of tale to tell ya, lads, lassies, and lassos
A wail of a tale or two
'Bout a ship on the seas with sails a screamin'
Voices of the dead on the waves a sailin'
A wail of a tale, and it's all true
I swear by my tattoo

Scourge ships outfitted with Wailing Sails require those facing them to roll Morale under a 6 as part of their Terrifying feature. Ships crewed by the living with these sails gain the Terrifying feature."

MÖRKTOBER 08 - WAIL #mörkborg #mörktober #wail #ttrpg #ttrpgart

The opening copy reads: "You are in a dungeon. Something is screaming. You are running. You do not remember how you got here. You are trapped in the chamber of a SENILE BANSHEE HP 8 Morale - No Armor Scream d4"
Below that is a circle of dungeon tiles, implying that you're running in a never-ending loop. In the very center is the word: "WAIL"
Beneath the circle reads the headline "what is happening" followed by this descriptor: "If you stop, the Senile Banshee will attack. If you slow down or get tired, the Senile Banshee will catch up and attack. If you start running in the other direction or do something else appropriately clever, the Senile Banshee will get confused and the spell is broken. If you break the spell or defeat the Senile Banshee you re-emerge in the real world 1d6 miles away from where you last remember being."

Day 8!!
Of course, @knavesquill.bsky.social wrote the mechanics and text! (:

After October is over, I may poke at the art a bit more, she's looking a little too symmetrical.

#mörktober #mörkborg #ttrpgart #ttrpg #digitalart #artsky #bodyhorror #gore #inktober #inktober2026

A digital drawing of a partially decapitated woman, dressed in a thin, flowing dress. Her head, tilted away from her body but still attached by a thin piece of skin, faces the viewer, with the bloody stub of her neck peaking out from under it. A long black tongue extends from the gaping wound, and shines in the light.
The text reads:
8. Wail
Pale feminine figure, a wide slash across her neck. The wound is a mouth with misshapen rotten teeth and a pale dry tongue. A constant wail of sorrow comes from the wound, her head tilted far back to the sky.

She runs straight for the first person she sees, hugging them tightly as the neck-mouth pleads for the grabbed to not leave. The hug will crush the person to death, at which point the being rises and walks on, mourning yet another love lost. She only releases her victim if brought to 0 HP, at which point she sulks away, unable to die.

Red-Throated Lover
HP 12
Cursed to endure -d4
Morale -
Embrace d6
The Lover targets the first person she sees. Once she embraces a character, she does not let go until she or the victim fall to 0 HP, embracing them each turn.
Special: Wail - All that can hear test Agility to cover their ears in time; otherwise lose an Omen. If you have no Omens to lose, instead lose d6 HP.

8 - wail
#MörkBorg #Mörktober #Inktober

Photo of a rectangular illustration. In the bottom left corner there is an open mouth with fangs and black lips, it looks like it's screaming. Around the mouth there are straight magenta lines from the mouth towards the edges of the painting, and there are also black and yellow "a" letters everywhere, in different fonts and sizes, there are even some anarchy symbols (capital A inside a circle)

Text by me, art by
@lostarot.bsky.social

#pirateborg #mörkborg #TTRPG

A tomb effigy depicting a pirate with Obols over his eyes and holding two flintlocks. The text reads "Found aboard a Scourge crewed ship, this heavy stone tomb occupies a position of reverence on the ship and the undead will defend it from the living at all costs. If opened, it contains:
1. Seawater
2. ASH: 3d12 doses
3. A Skeleton Cap’n(PB.93)
4. A living hostage, in a magical slumber
5. d4 random Ancient Relics(PB.62-63)
6. Charon(DAtD.45)"

#MÖRKTOBER Day 7: Conjure Maddening Effigy - Unclean Scroll. Summons a crude figure of dirt and stone that cackles incessantly, drawing all attention and hostility until destroyed. It has 10HP, and crumbles to dust upon destruction or an hour has passed.
