The trees had clearly been cleared for this strip mine recently. The open wound upon the land, resembling a giant ear. It now appeared to be abandoned, but this was clearly recent, and had happened suddenly. Tools layed out on the ground, where they had been dropped. In the bottom of the mind stands a small shack, next to a sink hole.

#Mörktober Day Eleventh. Ear.

It was literally only about two hours ago I knew what I was going to do with this one.

Just really wanted to avoid a big silhouetted ear at the pages bottom or side lol.

Think I got away with it in the end.

Monochromatic image of a group of Mörk Borg scum walking away from us over the nearby horizon line and past a tree. The closest individual holds a hand to their ear. Listening to the spores that rise from nearby fungi. The text reads. Weeping Spores The Sanctum echoes with the songs of silver tears, pleasing to the Branching Worm. Yet the oubliettes brim over with the wails of the weepers whose bodies have long been lost to rot. As the pale spores take root within your ear a quiet sobbing may, at times, be heard. By the next morn, the sobs grow stronger and thin strands can be seen by all growing from within the ear; harmless, yet alarming. If left to grow, the voices become stronger. They offer help and guidance when possible, though the sobbing becomes a constant distraction. Each charting turn, you may ask the voices any polar question. If you get an answer, all of your Tests until the end of the next charting turn are made at +2 dr.
