This, I think, is where I fall on the motion. It is simply structurally bad.

Three years on, we remember the horrific events of October 7 and the wave of destruction in Gaza that has followed it. We call today, and every day, for an end to the violence, for peace and safety for all.

I'm very VERY happy to have voted for @geraldinecoggins.bsky.social in the Mayoral Election postal ballot.

It would be lovely if the region had a Green Mayor.

Fingers crossed, and whatever happens Geraldine, you're awesome !

We asked every candidate whether they would keep the previous mayor's promise to launch a #BasicIncome pilot in the region.

Only the Green Party's @geraldinecoggins.bsky.social confirmed that she would.

It's disappointing to see the lack of engagement from candidates on a basic income pilot, apart from
@geraldinecoggins.bsky.social.

We hope that the next mayor continues the work that had started under @andyburnham.bsky.social to make a basic income pilot a reality.

I'm hearing Bev Craig didn't turn up to the hustings in Greater Manchester this evening organised by the Forum of Muslim Organisations. After years of complicity in a genocide Labour won't even acknowledge, it's a great shame they couldn't even show up and explain themselves.
