The Mayor of Greater Manchester
I manage my own page so get in touch via email: themayor@greatermanchester-ca.gov.uk
@bevcraig.bsky.socialBury, Bolton, Netball, homelessness, jobs, social housing board, investment, music, culture… just a flavour of my week as Greater Manchester Mayor.
@bevcraig.bsky.socialOur first Greater Manchester Cost of living Summit bringing about ways to make life a little easier, cheaper and more affordable 👇🏼
@bevcraig.bsky.socialI also joined Mayors from across the world at the U20 summit - the first time Greater Manchester has joined this global summit - looking at how we can work together to make life cheaper and easier for all our people.
@bevcraig.bsky.socialThat’s why I spent this weekend in New York City meeting global businesses that have already created jobs and invested in our city region, looking at what more we can do together to deliver opportunities for people in Greater Manchester.
@bevcraig.bsky.socialDelivering more jobs and investment and making Greater Manchester’s voice heard on the world stage. Every time I go overseas as Mayor that’s what I’m focussed on.
@bevcraig.bsky.social🙏It’s difficult to put into words how grateful I am for all of your support.
🗳️Tomorrow, take your photo ID and use your vote for our future.
@bevcraig.bsky.socialThis Thursday, let’s keep moving forwards together.
@bevcraig.bsky.socialI will fight for you, every single day.
@bevcraig.bsky.socialBusy Sunday campaigning in Chorlton - with a quick stop in town to take part in the Manchester Day carnival. Can’t believe it's only four days to go!
@bevcraig.bsky.social🍻On top of Andy’s 20% cut to business rates for pubs, clubs and live music, I’ll deliver a dedicated pubs strategy to safeguard these vital community assets. 🍴I’ll also organise a Greater Manchester Hospitality Summit to support local independent businesss.
@bevcraig.bsky.social🏡 A good home that you can afford. That's my plan.
@bevcraig.bsky.social🏡50,000 new affordable and council homes. Brownfield first. Priority for GM locals. Action on bad landlords, rip-off rents and HMOs.
@bevcraig.bsky.socialSuch a great buzz around Greater Manchester today! Enjoy your weekends everyone
@bevcraig.bsky.socialGreat to catch up with my friend Andy Burnham on his first day working in Number 10 North in Manchester. 🌹 As Mayor, I’ll go even further on what Andy has already delivered. It never hurts to have friends in high places - and working just around the corner!
@bevcraig.bsky.socialYou asked, I answered. It is not Burnaaaaaage...
@bevcraig.bsky.socialI’ll always put the safety of our residents first.
@bevcraig.bsky.social👇This is my fully costed plan to build an even better Greater Manchester:
@bevcraig.bsky.socialI will apply a simple test to every decision as Mayor: will it make life better for the people of Greater Manchester?
@bevcraig.bsky.socialI want to build a Greater Manchester where no-one gets left behind. Thank you to Made Running for being so welcoming!
@bevcraig.bsky.socialBusy couple of days! Met some apprentices, ran a few times, watched a friend get a promotion...
