Thank you to all who attended #AshConf! Had a huge turnout and amazing speakers π We'll be releasing talks over the next few weeks. Today we have @ajetha.bsky.social with an excellent keynote talk: Adoption of Ash in a Mature & Complex Codebase
I'm pleased to announce our newest #AshFramework core team member: @maennchen.dev !
He has been a steadfast partner for well over a year now, and has helped secure the Ash ecosystem (and to a much greater degree the Elixir/BEAM ecosystem as a whole). He also built an entire CNA platform with Ash π
Made some massive optimizations to compile times, memory usage, and disk size of #AshFramework applications. π Benchmarks on my own large app.

Temporal Resources π
Its a compliment to be confused with the great @lawik.bsky.social β€οΈ
T-minus 4 days til the big #AshFramework announcement at #Goatmire #ElixirLang conference π
βΆοΈ 'Exoskeletons, not Autopilots' by @zachdaniel.devΒ is out now! A closing-keynote vision for AI that amplifies developers, not replaces them. Craving more? Get the video pass & access 46 materials from the conference: https://ti.to/elixirconf/2026/with/qva5vpgkamc
Watch:
It's pretty good. Certainly no fable.
See the docs for more: ash-ai.hexdocs.pm/readme.html#...
Like all the rest of #AshFramework / AshAi, these actions can be used interchangeably with a wide array of features. For example, you could provide jev-backed actions as tools to an LLM-backed action.
Happy hacking π
Building on top of ReqLLM's support (Thanks @mikehostetler.bsky.social ), AshAI now also supports @typesafeai.bsky.social new Jev model π.
It's interesting but easy to accomplish with Elixir. My agent very often evals against a live running app already, and tools like tidewave offer great support for this π
nothing that operates proactively, but I do have an agent w/ access to various systems to inquire and schedule runs etc.
Really enjoyed seeing all of my #ElixirLang fam at #ElixirConf this year, and looking forward to seeing many of you at #Goatmire where I will be giving a very different talk whereby I provide a real time travel device instead of the gimmick from last time π
A very different talk than you're used to hearing from me, but I'm spending a lot of my time these days figuring out how to capitalize on LLMs in a way that leads to positive outcomes, so it was exciting to share some of what I've been doing lately π
Happening now: @zachdaniel.dev's closing keynote 'Exoskeletons, not Autopilots.' After this: closing notes and the Bingo Bard drawing! Stick around.
Your jobs table is not a domain model. @zachdaniel.dev keynotes "Exoskeletons, not Autopilots" at #ElixirConf US - this Thursday, Chicago

π¨ Announcing Pushin π¨
Now officially: I'm announcing Pushin.eu, a git hosting platform built and run entirely in Europe. Think GitHub/GitLab but European, better, and faster. Built with #ElixirLang and #RustLang.
Sad we won't see you! Next time β€οΈ
