Best behind-the-scenes captures of Goatmire's orchestra and vocal training so far. Ellyse was a phenomenal contributor and collaborator throughout. So glad she wrote this up.
Thank you to all who attended #AshConf! Had a huge turnout and amazing speakers 🎉 We'll be releasing talks over the next few weeks. Today we have @ajetha.bsky.social with an excellent keynote talk: Adoption of Ash in a Mature & Complex Codebase
Fresh new release of jump_credo_checks is out now (v0.6). 🎉 Highlights:
- Big improvements to the Oban Pro best practices check
- A new check that catches places where your code modifies a struct *before* passing it to a changeset (with surprising results!)
⚗️ Elixir Tip #39 - Working with nested data ⚗️
Deeply nested maps can be a pain to update. Luckily Elixir ships with get_in/2, put_in/2 and update_in/3 so you can reach right in and make your changes!
Fork repair by Base Labs https://notes.club/baselabs/charter_agreement_protocol/docs/notebooks/fork-repair #ElixirLang
Not only did they sponsor the conference. Not only do they help you fix your cloud platforms. They also write conference reports!
Thanks Ellie 💖

Hologram v0.12!
hologram.page/blog/hologra...
A 9,000+ module Elixir app that previously ran out of memory now builds.
Incremental compilation: 107s → ~1s
Runtime bundle: 5.6 MB → 660 KB
Congrats @bartblast.com and others involved. Proud to support Hologram's development!
Really excited to be back! Prep for #Goatmire kept us busy in September, but now I feel like the community has been injected with a bunch of new energy after seeing a lot of really cool projects and hardware in Varberg.
Come join us!

There were 14.5 workshops that actually took place at Goatmire.
We lost two to illness. We regained half an AI workshop due to ingenuity from attendees.
This was a phenomenal start to the conference.
👨💻 Finally working on getting my `prom_ex` dashboards set up for my side project `flick`. #ElixirLang
The first library I scanned with Mythos was Phoenix and it found:
Nothing!
This is an incredible statement for the quality of the library and the thoroughness of the engineering behind it. Absolutely outstanding work, dear Phoenix team! #ElixirLang
I doubt Joe Armstrong (the creator of Erlang) would be indulging in defeatism.

⚗️ Elixir Tip #38 - Counting with frequencies ⚗️
Before you reach for Enum.reduce to count occurrences of items, check out Enum.frequencies/1 and Enum.frequencies_by/2. Counting things has never been easier!
