So, finally, a PM who admits there **was** Russian interference in the Brexit Referendum — after all the evidence amassed by myself @carolecadwalla.bsky.social @lukeharding1968.bsky.social Sergei Cristo, J Patrick et al — dismissed as conspiracy for ten long years

Delighted that @europeanmovement.co.uk is stepping up its campaign to rejoin the EU - good for the economy & for the environment, and ever more urgent in an increasingly insecure world with a totally unreliable US & feral President

To be clear I’m not calling on Zack to step down. Today he's indicated he shares some of my concerns on the Zionism motion & I welcome that. Now the party needs to come together to urgently make our processes more robust & inclusive & take action to show Jewish members our party is safe for them

The Green Party has urgent work to do, writes @carolinelucas.bsky.social

The "Zionism is racism" motion crossed a very significant red line

Congrats to all for a great campaign. So sorry it wasn’t enough this time, but tripling our vote share was huge. On Zack’s next steps - his leadership has led to huge party successes. I hope he can now bring same leadership to help resolve huge issues we face & transform our internal structures too

“The only sensible solution at this point is a moratorium on datacentres until very basic questions about how many we need, what for, where, and how pollution will be avoided are answered satisfactorily by the government” - @olliehayes.bsky.social 👏

There was a time when the Tories, however hypocritically, claimed to want to protect our natural heritage. Now they're just a party of vandals, ripping down the few protections the living world has for the sake of their rich chums. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

I'm so pleased Zack made a Fair Rents Guarantee a key part of his conference speech - keeping up pressure on govt on behalf of the millions of renters who have no choice but to transfer an unsustainable and growing proportion of their income straight into the bank accounts of landlords.

"We did win elections in greater numbers than ever before. But more than that, we changed this country. You did this. We made this happen.” In his speech at Conference, Zack Polanski reflects on a historic year for the Green Party.

Change doesn’t happen because those in power suddenly decide to be bolder - it happens when. Greens push them to be better. And on climate, that couldn’t be more urgent. Vote Green to keep fossil fuels in the ground, where they belong

So let’s see practical steps to rejoin asap. As global insecurity grows, anything less simply won’t do

@carolinelucas.bsky.socialSep 29, 2026, 3:51 PM

Sadly there was a climate & nature shaped hole at the heart of Burnham’s speech. Nothing on the benefits of nature restoration & same old words on a “pragmatic” approach to N Sea drilling. There’s nothing pragmatic about pouring fuel on a scorching earth - he should rule out Rosebank & Jackdaw now

@carolinelucas.bsky.socialSep 29, 2026, 2:41 PM

Now we need to see similar energy behind a commitment to get dirty money out of politics, clamp down on donations, greater transparency over lobbying, Lords reform and an end to the revolving door between politics and lobbying. Only then will we have a politics people can truly trust

This Labour government could have responded to the genocide in Gaza in so many ways, instead they cut aid. This is a dereliction of duty.

Stuff of nightmares UK cuts aid to Un Gaza food operations by 78%

Today’s speech from the Chancellor shows Labour offering more of the same. We need real action to tackle extreme wealth inequality in this country and make the super-rich pay their fair share.

Headline reads: “It’s time to tackle extreme wealth inequality.”
Quote from Ellie Chowns, MP for North Herefordshire:
“The Chancellor used his speech today to repeatedly stress a message of new leadership offering new hope, yet when it came to the substance behind the rhetoric, Britain was once again left with more of the same.
“He made no mention of the extraordinary wealth inequality holding our country back, nor did he state any ambitions for fair taxation of wealth.
“A government serious about fixing our economy cannot afford to look the other way while the uber-rich accumulate ever-more wealth and dodge paying their fair share.”

"Miliband was right to highlight the threat that climate breakdown poses to our national security – though the full extent of these threats, highlighted by UK intelligence agencies in a report last year, have never been fully released." Adrian Ramsay asks: where does Labour stand on climate?

WHERE DOES LABOUR STAND ON THE CLIMATE CRISIS?

ADRIAN RAMSAY
MP FOR WAVENEY VALLEY

"Miliband asked where each and every party stands on tackling the climate crisis.
The Green Party is unequivocal: it means no new drilling for oil and gas in the North Sea. It means no green light for a third runway at Heathrow. It means massive investment in our homes, green energy sources and transport in ways that both tackle the climate crisis and cut people’s bills.

So we ask Labour: where do you stand on these issues?"
