Earlier this morning, I was honoured to be hosted at @XfmUG to talk about suicide prevention and support.

September is Suicide Prevention Month, and conversations like these help save lives. Grateful to the team for creating space for hope, healing, and connection. #WSPD

It's "R U OK?" day in Australia so let me share:

I struggled with alcohol and depression. I sought self-directed help for the former; professional help for the latter.

I promise you a better life lies on the other side of admitting that you are not OK.

Stay in the fight 💛

I used to be ashamed to admit I attempted it...more than once.

It's World Suicide Prevention Day. I have been at that point, and getting help was such a hard step to take. Check in on people. Help those close to you when you can. And if suicidal thoughts and self-harm are creeping in, fight. Fight them, even when it feels impossible.
