If you want to figure out who the bully is and who the victim is, notice who stands alone. The victim is frequently isolated, whereas the bully is backed by a crowd that laughs and enables it.

Talking about what happened, what it means, how it affected you - that's NOT a "victim mentality." Putting words to it, trying to understand it, connecting with others who've also been impacted - those are all constructive, proactive steps.

It's the OPPOSITE of "staying stuck."
