I can't say "Douglas Fairbanks doing Parkour before it was cool" because Parkour is innately and eternally cool

I gotta be honest, all the #Swashbucklers I want to see don't start till after this movie–which just started and is so slow–and air as late as tomorrow morning. Turns out the one TCM calls out as part of this programming block won't even be on until 7:00AM ET! 😐 #TCMParty

Milady de Winter suborning the man set to guard her is one of my favorite parts of #TheThreeMusketeers

A lovely, bittersweet pairing of Sean Connery and Audrey Hepburn. ROBIN AND MARIAN (1976), tonight at 10:00 PM on #TCM. #classicmovies #swashbucklers

Ricardo Montalbán could've had his own #Swashbucklers night #TheSaracenBlade #TCMParty

#TheMasterOfBallantrae (1953)
". . . a rebel for the devil of it ! "
Yes please to more #Swashbucklers !
This is the Australian one sheet poster. #TCMParty

You really have to have the energy for the performance, pace, and sheer barrage of both dialogue and swordplay that is the 1950 version of #CyranoDeBergerac. Don't get me wrong, it's great and he deserved the Oscar. But it's very intense. I had to take a break. #Swashbucklers #TCMParty

Can we talk about #Swashbucklers?
They were defined by their sword fighting, but has that been expanded?
Last week TCM aired #TheWickedLady (1945) as part of the theme, but I don't recall any swords. Double pistols–yes! They're not alone in calling it one, but is it? Why? –the period? #TCMParty

I don't remember it being this bad last time I watched it on TCM! It looks like an old television show or something! #CyranoDeBergerac #Swashbucklers #TCMParty

I actually liked #Moonfleet despite its flaws. I've already said I feel it was stunning... but it also had potential. That reviewer was unfair to say it made no sense. There was a definite story, goals, and his relationship with the boy was a very important through line. #Swashbucklers #TCMParty

I just found this photo of Rocky Marciano visiting Stewart Granger on the set of #Moonfleet in 1955. #Swashbucklers #TCMParty

GOOD LORD THIS MOVIE IS BEAUTIFUL! #Moonfleet #Swashbucklers #TCMParty

That kid has more character and loyalty than all his men put together!

I missed it!!! I had to leave the room, darn it. Good thing I recorded this one... Sounds like I'm going to be mad at somebody. #Moonfleet #Swashbucklers #TCMParty

Oh I see! Thanks!
We seem to be having a G.S. shortage at the moment...
#Moonfleet #Swashbucklers #TCMParty

That was pretty creative!!!
#Moonfleet #Swashbucklers #TCMParty

It's getting more gorgeous all the time!
#Moonfleet #Swashbucklers #TCMParty

Whether you like Stewart Granger or don't, the man could seriously buckle some swash! #Moonfleet #Swashbucklers #TCMParty

This is the most surprising sword fight I think I've ever seen!!!!! #Moonfleet #Swashbucklers #TCMParty

Dark and moody with minimal pops of bright colour? I actually think this is quite rich! There's no waste of the medium going on here! I hate colour movies so bleak that you're made to feel depressed just looking at them (cough, 70s, cough). This is not that! #Moonfleet #Swashbucklers #TCMParty
