#CyranodeBergerac

You really have to have the energy for the performance, pace, and sheer barrage of both dialogue and swordplay that is the 1950 version of #CyranoDeBergerac. Don't get me wrong, it's great and he deserved the Oscar. But it's very intense. I had to take a break. #Swashbucklers #TCMParty

I don't remember it being this bad last time I watched it on TCM! It looks like an old television show or something! #CyranoDeBergerac #Swashbucklers #TCMParty

TCM really needs to license a restored print of #CyranoDeBergerac. The version they have been airing for years is a well-worn generation copy. Wikipedia has a better print since the 1950 adaptation is public domain after its copyright was not first renewed. #TCMParty
