The evidence can show someone leaving, deleting messages, shaking, staying calm.
But it can’t show you the thoughts inside their head.
And in a criminal case, that thought might be exactly what has to be proved.

We believe more information means better decisions.
But in a jury room, that can cause a serious problem.
Everywhere else, the search bar promises a better decision.
On a jury, sometimes the discipline is knowing when not to use it.

A witness’s first description.
You can interview a witness again.
You can never interview that earlier version of them again.
Which version would you trust most?
