Mudras will have developed naturally back when we were more spiritually connected before later being systematised.

(Freestyle) Mudras
I make good use of mudras in my spiritual practice. They stemmed from dancing and my rave/clubbing days, developed organically and are a spontaneous manifestation of my energy.
