Thank dog for good meds.
The socials are going to be a crazy place for the next few months.
I want to be a space of kindness out here in the wild. A space that sees where Home is. It's never far from us. We are home when we are free.
Totally thought this was a zuchinni all summer till I harvested it last week. I save seeds every year so this must be a "zunkin" 😂
Saving a few seeds to see what it will grow next year.
This girl thinks that when I'm doing my physio exercises it's a good time to try be the center of attention and get in my face as Im laying on my meditation rug.
The love and affection this beautiful creature has for me is so precious.
My porch goose is now in her fall dress. Miss Mona is so cute.
Trying to find the good things in my day as I'm dealing with pinched nerve pain.
Also, shout out to those folks who live with chronic pain and still show up as best they can in their lives. Pain is no joke. It changes a person.
Thankful for meds that get me through.
Harvested stuff outside the greenhouse yesterday as it was calling for frost. That is the longest zuchinni Ive ever grown 😂. Next to it is a zuc pumpkin hybrid I think. I save seeds every year and sometimes get weird stuff.
Squash stores nicely most of the year. Zucs till January.
One of my favorite places to be.
I spent the day processing 2, 5 gallon buckets of apples into sauce and found this dude on an apple so I put him in the peel bowl and we spent a couple hrs together as he explored the bowl. After I put him back outside.
Ive got three huge buckets of apples to process into sauce today and my shoulder has been acting like a two year old tantrum for several days now.
About to fill the freezer with this amazing Vegetarian African Peanut Stew. Almost all the ingredients came from my garden.
I would like you to witness my new earrings my friend made me. It takes her about 6 hrs. Real craftsmanship and art.
I got some new full headphones and am so surprised at how comforting they are. Comfortable too.
First plumb cake of the year. My thighs are very happy.
This is heaven in a bowl.
Made two canners of borsht yesterday. Much of it for the freezer for my son away at school. These jars dont have cream in them yet but are all sealed (filled with hot borsht in hot jars). They can last in the fridge for up to 6 weeks but won't cause we will eat them far before that. 😂

One of the best parts of making borsht. The mashed potatoes.
Did a thing today. Haven't gone riding since I was a teen. My friend is ahead and my future daughter in law in the lead.
My husband just realized the coffee pods he bought weren't decaf. As he was sipping on his third cup. 😂
His motor bike ride today is gonna be epic.
