Inky in color with a reddish/ brick rim.

Earthy nose of black currants, plums, licorice, oak, bell pepper, earth, vegetables, spices, tobacco leaf and dark coffee.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with cooked cherries, black currants, black plums, blackberries, light vanilla, oak, licorice, tobacco leaf, herbs, light bell pepper, earth, mushrooms, vegetables, black pepper and mediterranean spices.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.

This is a delicious Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from Israel. Smooth and nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel. Complex, elegant and entertaining.

Needs time to open up properly (2 hours in the decanter), but good right out of the bottle too. Showing a beautiful nose when it opens up.

Will continue to drink nicely in the next few years. I had this vintage a couple of years ago, and it is drinking better now.

Good by itself or with food. Paired beautifully with the beef Prosciutto.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were grown at 2,700 feet of elevation. Aged in oak barrels for 20 months. A small production of less than 7,000 bottles. Kosher and not Mevushal.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

$40 (current vintage).

This 8 year old Bordeaux blend from Israel is still drinking very nicely, although at the end of the peak. soft and easy drinking, elegant and rich.

Fruit forward with great complexity, especially on the nose. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Feels like a California Bordeaux blend. Very interesting.
