Cherry, wood, raspberries. Juicy, with lots of acidity ā it strikes me as a summer wine. It's drinkable, but the rest of the bottle went into a reduction.

Pepper, strong. Violets, prunes, black plums, vanilla, tobacco. A strong kick of red fruits and red currant, with some lavender. 40-year old vines, and they use old barrels so that the oak doesnāt overpower...
