#grateful for all the outside #hammocktime this summer but today I packed up this hammock and the hammock outdoor straps as Fall is really here. I'll still be hammocking just indoors.

📖 Today sees me a start another of my “Picked for me…” collection.

This is “Water Moon” by Samantha Sotto Yambao, which @thebookbella.bsky.social selected for me during a #BookTube sprint.

No clue what it’s about, but first chapter is v.intriguing 🤗

📕 Next up in my #SciFiSeptember is “Semiosis” by @sueburke.bsky.social, a re-read for me after loving it back in 2020.

This is 1st of a trilogy I hope to tackle in successive months after recently discovering “Usurpation” was out in paperback 🤗

🏁 Just finished “From Pixels to Prose”, which introduced me to the story of several games - e.g. Final Fantasy, Mega Man, Undertale, and others - and notes that we have each other, “doughy and undercooked,” and video games ☺️

📖 Currently reading “From Pixels to Prose” in which we learn how 1/16th Werewolf @nadiaoxford.bsky.social wrote micro game reviews through Grade 6, contracted terminal RPG wasting disease, and drafted a badass Shadow Dragon…

#grateful for daily #hammocktime

Photo of me in one of my #enohammocks inside my home office earlier this week and I'm in it currently as I post this #hammockselfie

📖 First out of the gate for my #SciFiSeptember reading plan is (belatedly, as it turns out!) joining @scifiscavenger.bsky.social in reading @emilymandel.bsky.social ”Sea of Tranquility”.
