I am still not a fan of the new #GardeningAustralia format. Any chance it could go back to the way it used to be and run for an hour and have the old theme music?

These succulent gardens belonged to Kiddo's great-grandmother.

They've not really been tended to since she passed away, so we're going to tidy them up & maintain them from now on.

I have a worm bin and a compost tumbler, but I often end up digging the compost directly into the ground. The result is random trees – here are two avocados and one you can’t see hidden under the nasturtium foliage. I need to take those out and separate them. #GardeningAustralia

A heritage-listed boab from the 1880s was slowly dying in a Darwin car park. The new building was shaped so it never shades the tree. It's flourishing now. This episode of Gardening Australia is full of decisions like that.

Plants remove essentially every air pollutant tested, and they handle the worst ones most efficiently. In petrol vapour trials they stripped out the most carcinogenic chemicals first.

More than 60 native species in a Sydney courtyard, plus a useful warning: “Australian native” doesn't automatically mean appropriate for your part of Australia.

A particularly practical Gardening Australia episode.

The irises that I transplanted have started to flower again.

I think the move has been successful 😀
