Camellia japonica 'Red Red Rose'
1168
The reddest of the red. Would like to meet the person who decided to include the word "rose" in a Camellia cultivar name.

Okay, Epiphyllum ‘German Empress’ .. first year flowering. A larger pot will be needed.
This morning I have discovered a new open bloom 😍 🌱🌼
Epiphyllum Ulana Orange Sunrise. I am loving her shades and she is at least 15cm diameter.

Spotted these two 'guys' outside my bedroom window. Something a little different from the normal Wallabies.
Enjoy them. One is a tad bedraggled because of the drizzly moisture falling.🌱 #gardeningAU #ouryardaustralia #kookaburras
The last time I grew mangel wurzel it was the normal one.
This one’s Red Mammoth .. first time I’ve seen psychedelic seedlings . I’ll get spinach like leaves for two years, then a large elongated beet. From the pics I intend to eat them before they get out-of-hand large ..
Camellia japonica 'Desire'
1034
A top 5 Camellia for me.
10cm flower.

Camellia japonica 'Man Size'

Had this for quite a while, it never did anything brilliant. Severe pruning 2 years ago and it's bounced back into life. Just as well.

These succulent gardens belonged to Kiddo's great-grandmother.
They've not really been tended to since she passed away, so we're going to tidy them up & maintain them from now on.
Stopped by the native nursery and accidentally bought a bunch of plants 😄
I've now added a dwarf mandarin tree, strawberries, and jalapeño to the edible garden.
Finally, an occasional work bench at a good height! #gardeningAU
I can pull it off the wall!
Epiphyllum ‘beautiful day’ has perfume. Faint but there #gardeningAU
Just as the mass of 4 blue cornflower plants start to produce blooms, hot then cold strong winds of early spring play havoc with the plants, I doubt I'll get many more flowers

This is Iris sp from Tajikistan, somewhere in middle Asia. Before Black Summer I had collected over 50 species with great difficulty and a lot of grovelling. Iris collectors are formidable. One whiff & they’re gone ..
Most died. This one I’m glad didn’t. It’s tiny & smells like heaven #gardeningAU
A few casualties but the onee that have survived are doing quite well!
Little One loves having her own garden to water and pick flowers from.
