Honey, we poisoned the kids.
From pollutants to quick dopamine fixes of social media, poor nutrition, making an unsafe environment to exercise, socialise. From stress to meds, to lack of sleep to repair allow the brain to empty waste. Decades of it passed down.
You should look to see if we are doing epigenetic harm to our children. Pollution reports are starting to confirm harm to lung health. But it's well documented pollution is discovered in other parts of the body, causes inflammation & can enter the brain and reproductive system. #Exposome #Exposomics

So okay, if pollution reduces testosterone in men.
People get angry when you give them information.
Literally the person they follow is saying the exact same thing.
🤷 #Exposome.
Evolution driven by heat, cold, pH conditions, predatory pressure, food availability probably a lot more. It takes an F n long time to adapt to survive.
What about anthropogenic activities in a short space of time.
Does allostatic state return to homeostasis or is there a new elevated normal, decreasing your safety net.
The problem with signalling molecules and neurotransmitters is they do so much. So when things go wrong like in nitric oxide's case, it really goes wrong. It gets really interesting, when they are responsive to external factors.
I.e , physiological differences we have or Allostatic load. Homeostasis. We often mention sensory environments but completely leave our chemical input or our antioxidant capacity to defend ourselves. Which is odd when we do research on pollution near schools and lung health in cities.
Our #Exposome
As a society do we think about where we put the vulnerable.
The "Clean" air zone.
Here is the danger of treating every genetic, epigenetic change in the next generation as some magical natural random event, magically passed down from grandparent/parent to child, "Accumulation" We keep adding more harmful things to our environment.
Denial for profit.

Zygote mutation.
Genetics is interesting, it's a broad umbrella.
The real question is how does mutation occur, randomly or influenced.
