“How come no one woke me?” Loke felt like she was being watched as she noticed the others mostly waiting for her. Magnar tossed a small piece of fruit at her. “Because I didn’t want to carry you. But you’re up now, right? We should move before more soldiers come. You can eat as we go.” Blu held his hand out to help her up and helped her finish tucking everything away. “I don’t think he is trying to be mean.” He was trying to whisper. Loke shook her head. “No, it’s alright. I was up too late, but I think he might be more forgiving after we make it through this forest.” The entrance to the mysterious forest was just behind the warning sign that Loke had spotted the day before. It had an ivy archway – overgrown to the point of not being noticeable. The large sign painted in red had KEEP OUT in large letters and below in what was likely blood was DEATH AWAITS. Everyone hesitated to pass through the arch except for Loke, who didn’t give the sign a second thought and walked through the gate. To everyone watching, Loke vanished as she crossed under the archway. “We should have let her sleep.” Magnar mumbled as he chased after her. “Don’t just go ahead on your own!”
