@bricedavidson.bsky.socialWasn’t too impressed with the results after a single coat of flat aluminum so I reapplied chipping fluid and went back over it with a coat of Tamiya “Royal Grey”.
Much better IMO.

@calzadaphoto.bsky.socialI’m 96% complete on the 1/72 scale Eduard F6F-3 Hellcat. I’ve removed carrier film from the Eduard decals. I’ve never used these, and am impressed. The markings look painted! Added weathering on the underside, using a light spray of rust and dark gray panel liner. #histscalemodels #scalemodels
@markbarnesn16.bsky.socialMy son did this dry fit to get a feel for scale. It's big. I don't have a pale blue rattle can, so used this green as a base for a blue wash. Two parts track links are coming on. There is a mask for painting the two sections steel and rubber black. #histscalemodels

The auto loader is brown. Shells are three different colours. Plus black,steel and brown for odds. Sort that lot out! #histscalemodels

I believe 6-10 was the 1st bf109 to shoot an enemy plane. #histscalemodels
