I built the EF-111 Spark Vark to go with that pair of patches a while back 😁 #HistScaleModels #ModelAircraft #FinishedKits See more detail at: www.flypastrush.com/post/spark-v...
Got the gloss coat on and decals, sealed them with gloss. I'll let this dry and do some weathering then dumb it all down with a matt varnish. Andys Hobby 1/16 M3/M3A1 Halftrack. The bonnet decal is interesting in that the centre is coloured. #histscalemodels

Seriously, how do you even put it together..? I get the letters are sub-constructions, and i need to heavily sand the original parts of the model. But this guide gives me no info on the actual places where to glue the parts in F section together 🤔 3h later I'm nowhere further #histscalemodels
The tiny #Taiwan ese F-104 pilot is always making eye contact with the camera, them's the rules #histscalemodels
Parts fit on the Freedom Tomcat is pretty good despite the added complexity over the Hasegawa and AFV Club eggplanes #histscalemodels
Finished, ICM 1,35 Italian infantry figures WWI. #Histscalemodels #ItaliaGB
#histscalemodels heresy time.
After taking ages to painstakingly detail the cockpit of a 1/48 Spit, only to have the canopy fog up & thus render it all pointless, I've just banged up a Hurricane *& didn't even bother fitting any of the internal parts*, let alone paint & weather them.
Suck on that.
I was driving passed the model shop and it happened again. Found this on my passenger seat. It's a complete mystery how it got there.

Excited for this.
1/72 Cant Z.1007bis 'Alcione', version is 35th Stormo B.M., 86th Gruppo, 190th Squadriglia, Brindisi, April '41.
My second entry for #ItaliaGB within #histscalemodels
Thats all the parts on the kit, just a clear coat of varnish for the decals and weathering then a matt varnish to seal it in. I've had stowage on order for a while now, apparently it will be here soon. Its from Value Gear. Hmm. #histscalemodels
What an amazing build! Thank you @traindriverdave.bsky.social for sharing it with us all here!
Wasn’t too impressed with the results after a single coat of flat aluminum so I reapplied chipping fluid and went back over it with a coat of Tamiya “Royal Grey”.
Much better IMO.
(Left image is aluminum only and right is aluminum + grey)
I’m 96% complete on the 1/72 scale Eduard F6F-3 Hellcat. I’ve removed carrier film from the Eduard decals. I’ve never used these, and am impressed. The markings look painted! Added weathering on the underside, using a light spray of rust and dark gray panel liner. #histscalemodels #scalemodels
