Yeeaaahhhh...I may have pushed over the top while attempting to attach it. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Many swearings later, it's up and kinda straightish. Got a wing strut on too...(🤔 I know...)😅👍👍🍻 #italiagb #histscalemodels

Continuing #ItaliaGB with a modified Semovente. This will be much faster than the Alcione.

The Bugatti progresses. Dashboard now fixed ( incl. glass in the instruments!) still weeks to go on this looking at the instructions but I’m not rushing this one, particularly on the weathering. I really want it to look like the ‘28 Targa Florio car

1/72 Cant Z.1007bis 'Alcione', version is 35th Stormo B.M., 86th Gruppo, 190th Squadriglia, Brindisi, April '41.

My second entry for #ItaliaGB within #histscalemodels

Tamiya 1/24 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA.

#ItaliaGB #Revell #Ferrari 512TR update

OK, new compressor in place - airbrushes (2 x H&S Ultra) not quite right (need new needles?) but managed to get coat of Blu Chiaro on heavily diluted with Mr Levelling Thinner.

Few bits of crud to be removed then next coat(s) which might darken tone as well

On to my third build for #ItaliaGB. This GB has given me the perfect opportunity to build one of these. I have no desire to have Nazi Germany markings on my shelf, so a Stuka has eluded me.

Some of you expressed an interest in this 32nd Mc 202 kit.
I happened to see this on Amazon today (US)
That's a very good price delivered🙂

Another quick mock up for Mr Cant. Slowly getting there....where? 🤔😅👍🍻

#ItaliaGB Macchi MC.200 Saetta complete. 1/48 by Italeri. I've messed up the canopy, but "oh well". Much better quality than my only previous Italeri. Won't avoid them anymore. #histscalemodels

Probably for the first time I looked up reviews and the instructions ahead of possible purchase. I won't be buying that Veltro for #ItaliaGB.

It looks amazing, and may be one for later. I do however have a kit in the stash that at the beginning of the year I promised myself would get built.

Alcione Day11: Verde mimetico 2 and bruno mimetico 4 is on.

Open the new Airfix Mag. It's almost like they know #ItaliaGB is happening.

1/32 Veltro should I 🤔

Alcione Day10: Giallo mimetico 3 is on.

Close to zipping up the fuselage!🙂
Everything used so far is provided in the kit.
Researching M.202 it became apparent engine & cockpit pics are scarce.
Mostly because only 2 examples exhist today.
NASM & Italy AF museum.
Both hung from ceilings.

Happy Sunday all. The Ducati Panigale is coming along, bit by bit. Wheels and forks are done and now it's time for the rest.

Both banks wired up! That was NOT easy and I did mess up the distributors a little but I think the overall effect is worth it. Thinking about doing some fabrication to add some of the fuel and oil lines next #histscalemodels #italiaGB #lamborghini #carmodels

Alcione Day9: Flat ghost grey is on, hard to distinguish from the primer. #ItaliaGB
