Pale feminine figure, a wide slash across her neck. The wound is a mouth with misshapen rotten teeth and a pale dry tongue. A constant wail of sorrow comes from the wound, her head tilted far back to the sky.

She runs straight for the first person she sees, hugging them tightly as the neck-mouth pleads for the grabbed to not leave. The hug will crush the person to death, at which point the being rises and walks on, mourning yet another love lost. She only releases her victim if brought to 0 HP, at which point she sulks away, unable to die.

The Lover targets the first person she sees. Once she embraces a character, she does not let go until she or the victim fall to 0 HP, embracing them each turn.

#MÖRKTOBER Day 4: Troll Marrow Decoction - A dark red sludgy potion brewed from troll bone marrow, nightshade, and water collected from an empty grave.. Drinking it allows the imbiber to heal at an astounding rate (d4 HP/min). However, each time one is drunk carries a cumulative 1-in-10 chance that the drinker will turn into a troll over the course of an agonizingly painful week.

#MÖRKTOBER Day 3: Blood Runes - a skilled can combine herbs, oils, and blood/ichor from a creature to create a solution that can be used to scribe potent runes. The inscriber expends the use of a power to scribe each rune, which lasts for d6 hours + scribe's presence.Each rune affects the creature who’s essence was harvested. Human blood for runes against humans, ground bone for runes against skeletons, etc.
Bane Rune: When applied to a weapon, increases its damage by one die.
Protection Rune: When applied to armor, clothing, or to flesh it lowers the DR to defend by 2.
Warding Rune: When applied to a solid surface (wood, stone, etc) it deals 1d10 damage that ignores armor, once per round, to any affected creature within 10 feet of it. Lasts for d6 + scribe’s presence days.
