Autoantibody landscapes in Long COVID with neurological symptoms show heterogeneity without a shared disease signature — Chakravarty et al
"Across tissue-based assays and peptide-level, whole-human-proteome PhIP-Seq profiling, the data consistently reveal a lack of convergent, disease-specific autoantibody signatures."

#LongCOVID patients also experience mitochondrial dysfunction, oxidative stress within dopaminergic neurons, microglial activation, cytokine release, neuroinflammation, endothelial dysfunction, and systemic inflammation.

Will untreated LC patients develop PD?

Should LC patients see PD specialists?

These webs, known as neutrophil extracellular traps, act as structural armour, preventing body from naturally breaking down the blood clots

This leads to a persistent blockage in the capillarie body's smallest blood vessels—which starves tissues of oxygen & drives chronic inflammation

#LongCovid patients have nearly twenty times more microscopic blood clots than healthy individuals.

Unlike typical clots, these 'microclots' are wrapped in sticky, web-like structures made of DNA and enzymes released by white blood cells.

Communication at work sometimes can be tough, but it’s worse after a brain injury.

Free shingle shot for seniors is good idea so is more investment in home care,

Should also require mandatory Mask for home care aides so patients don't get covid19, flu, RSV, Measles etc

And care aides don't quit b/c infected with covid & get #LongCovid disability #bcpoli

I just finished coding chief complaints and ancillary symptoms for every response in our Emergency Department survey! ✨

As you might expect, it's not a map of #MECFS / #LongCOVID symptoms so much as a map of the symptoms we find deeply concerning.

You may recall the next step is to zero in on 🧪🧵

@solveme.bsky.socialOct 5, 2026, 6:39 PM

📣Big news from Solve’s research team re: an upcoming funding opportunity for researchers studying #MECFS, #LongCovid, and associated conditions! Stay tuned for more info on October 6 & click the link to learn more about our Ramsay Research Grant Program.

“Loss of motivation?” Go 🤬🤬🤬

after almost 6 years of dealing brutal long covid with almost no support and often things working against me the only reason I’m still here is my motivation.

Fatigue is another word that pisses me off. Talk about ridiculous. #longcovid #disability

An article about #LongCovid and how art can be a refuge from the exile of #chronicillness

Perhaps @georgemonbiot.bsky.social might enjoy after his recent article on ME/CFS

@pflegeherz.bsky.socialOct 5, 2026, 4:08 PM

I agree w/ all of this except the “unlucky few” part:

Millions of Americans have #LongCovid

A fourth vaccine dose was linked to 31% lower risk of diagnosis vs three doses, with effectiveness rising to 38% among those with severe-illness risk factors.

Swedish propensity-matched cohort study; absolute risk reduction was small. (n=1,603,738) #LongCovid
