Good morning, #Raylla and #MotherlandFortSalem #FanFiction 🚨.
I was a bit behind with reading, but the very last chapter of "At The Edge Of Everything" by smithy199 is up. One of the best in this story which made me very emotional at 9.44 in the morning...

“This is a very weird situation.” Weiss shook her head as she perched on a tree limb, tail helping her balance as she looked out over the land extending out from the village. It was mostly forests to the south, east, and west, with the mountains north of them, including the path that led up to the village they had originally arrived at for the contract. “Oh? How is that so? Is it because we let them go rather than keep them prisoner?” She looked down to where Penny was walking the ground underneath her and stepped off the branch to land next to her. “I think that’s more because they’re not fanatics like the Red Talons.” Weiss shrugged. “And this way we don’t have to struggle with managing prisoners too. No the weird thing is, we’re hoping that they come back… with their boss.” “I can see where that is an unusual situation, however, I am eager to meet this person myself.” Penny nodded. “I have only met half of Yang’s biological parentage.” She paused for a moment and turned to Weiss. “Do scroll calls count as meeting?” Weiss smiled and leaned over to kiss her on the cheek. “I think it does. However, I am definitely looking forward to meeting Mr. Xiao Long face to face.” Weiss thought back to the first couple of days in Menagerie, sitting in the study with a book in her hands reading about the foundation of the White Fang in the house of the founders. “And this is my amazing partner, Weiss!” She’d been shocked enough by the sound and the hand that clapped on her shoulder that she’d tried to stand, ending up tumbling out of the chair onto the floor. “Sorry, Weiss.” Ruby had grimaced. “Ruby!” Weiss had gasped. “Warn people before doing that?” “Don’t you have super hearing?” Yang’s voice had drawn her attention to where the blonde leaned against the door frame. “I was reading..” She reached over to grab the book and saw where her claws had cut into the pages. “Now I’m going to have to buy a new copy for Blake’s parents.”

To anyone following my #LOTR #Fanfiction, there's a new episode up for #Patreon subs! While Caethir is away, the enemy launches a huge attack a his squad.

It seems their captain is the main target, but what else do they want?

Yay, first novel I've attempted since Covid completed - ten chapters, lovely non-AI cover (nicked from Modernist architect Antonio Sant'Elia), and even some mild smut. Heckin' obscure fandom these days, mind.

Proofread and edit, proofread again and edit again. 😵‍💫😵😵‍💫

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel with the editing of Chapter 12 (the " Broken hearts chapter").

Guys, I really think I’m going to manage to finish this fic in December. The month the story begins and ends. 😁😁😁
