I gave up with so called medical professionals decades ago. And that’s as an ex medical professional. I refuse to go to NHS for fear of their wilful ignorance and arrogance making me significantly worse or even killing me. This is a fear I suspect most #pwME have.

In my experience, family doctors know their patients well. The presentation in ME is not neurotic, it is exhaustion and severe disablement. A family doctor would see the difference in a first consultation. They would also know about the original pathogen that triggered the immune response.

Can't think of any other physical disease where sufferers are treated this way without it being a massive scandal. I'm lucky in that I have family, friends, and a GP who all understand my situation and support my need to pace, rather than try to push myself #MECFS #pwME
